Painting Exhibition”]  Period: 2006-5-1 to 2006-5-31 (Details) Mandy Shek, aka Mandaa, born: March 1988 in Hong Kong.  She has shown a great passion in the arts since young and has explored with different medias of art for over 10 years.  Her work has ranged from acrylic, watercolours, and sketches to clay sculptures.  Her talent was definitely recognized when she won the N.P.J. Art Scholarship Award of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong at the age of 15. As the principal have said, “Mandy won the scholarship not only because of her skill and expertise, but more important of her infatuation and enthusiasm for art and the influences to make others to appreciate art itself.”  Since then, Mandy had decided to take art as her career and devoted all her effort to achieve her goal.
